HOW IT WORKS

01. BOOKING

It is great that you are interested in a story shoot of your own! Once you have contacted me through the form, I will reply to you as soon as possible so we can discuss your shoot.

02. Preparation

The shoot may take place at a location of your choosing* and we agree on a suitable time for both of us.

I will ask about the scope of the project, what is your story, and any other thing that would help me make your story come to life.


*Travel expenses are calculated from the postcode 9726 CW in Groningen.

03. Day of the shoot

It is officially the day of the shoot!

We convene at the agreed time and location and let the magic happen.

From the moment I arrive, I try to capture the essence of the moment so you can keep beautiful, timeless pieces of a raw and authentic experience.

04. preview selection

After the shoot, as soon as I get home, I backup your memories in two external drives for safety and precaution.

Then I start with the infamous culling process, and begin reviewing the photos to deliver the preliminary album.

The preliminary album is for you to select your favourite and best photos.

05. completion

You will receive the link to the preliminary album together with the final invoice.

After you are done selecting your favourites, I will start editing.

06. Album delivery

Once the final invoice has been paid, I will send the final link to the gallery with your high-resolution images as soon as possible*.

And voila! Your keepsakes are yours forever :)

*Time of delivery can range from 2-4 weeks depending on my schedule.

WHAT A STORY SESSION INCLUDES

01.

DURATION

Depending on the type of session, the time serves as an estimation of how long it can take. If the time and moment feel right, I overlook the clock so I can capture the whole experience thoroughly.


02.

MOVEMENT

I follow you along the location and encourage movement, especially when animals are involved. By moving I can capture more of the location and hold off restlessness in the animal, and ensure the experience stays true to you.


03.

VARIETY

Since there's movement, there is variety of shots. That is why I study the location before the shoot, and make sure to bring the necessary equipment.


04.

EXTRAS

If during the selection process you realise you would want more photos, I offer extras packages. You may take a look below in the Rates section.
